Power BI access to a report/dataset randomly lost

Hi,

Currently there is an issue within my organization where users that have been granted access to a report/dataset/workspace in Power BI workspace would randomly lost their access to view a report? The users were reported to still have their Pro License to view other reports. Most of them are Pro License user.

Was it because of the configuration issue or Power BI itself?

can you check if they have access to the workspace, and what is the issue that they are facing, are they not seeing the reports in workspace or it's giving an error ?

Usually, they don't have access anymore to the report/workspace. They access will be randomly expired/removed. Error given is usually their access have been denied but mostly no errors are given & they can't access anymore to the report without warning.

In my organisation, our standard procedures are :

1. User will be granted Power BI license/Pro license Power BI

2. Users which are outside of our organization's zone, will be added into Azure AD group & users within the organization's zone will be added into an AD group.

3. These Azure AD & AD groups are added inside the workspace access.

4. Then, the issues pop up when users complained they have lost their access randomly without any errors or reasons.

5. One of the reason that reason I found out that, their Power BI license expired/not allocated would cause lost in access.
6. However, this happened to licensed users too.

A lot of the reports are implemented with RLS.

According to your descripotions, please confirm user have add to the RLS role.
