Power BI Tenant Settings: Service interruption notifications

We were reviewing the tenant settings and came across the option to receive email notifications for service outages or incidents. I believe it's important to have this enabled to ensure that we receive timely alerts about any incidents. However, I noticed that when this option is activated, the notifications are sent organization-wide, but only to members of an email-enabled security group. This seems a bit confusing—why does enabling it apply to the entire organization, yet only a specific group actually receives the notifications?

Definitely not! If you explore the other options within the tenant, you'll find an alternative that allows you to apply this setting either across the entire tenant or to a specific group. Please refer to the image below for clarity—I hope this helps!

Don't see how that is related to the notification question?

Ahahaha. Good one.  These usually come in long after our users have already yelled at us.

What would be your expectation?  To send these to all users in the organization?
