Power BI Tab duplication issue - Help!

This week our tenant is having issues with reports that are published as an APP. It seems that some are experiencing "tab duplication" that was not created by the author. Several of out reports in APPs on our premium service are experiencing this. It can be solved by unpublishing an republishing but that is not ideal.

It just started this week.

Is anyone experincing the same issue?

The issue only happens when I Update App from an existing workspace and reports. The issue does not happen a second time after the reports are unpublished and republished again.

I opened a ticket and Microsoft is apparently aware of the issue.

Hi,

I'm having the same issues: report pages/tabs are duplicated in all reports when accessed via APP. Did anyone find a nice solution for that? I tested on one report that when I publish it from my laptop, overwrite it in the workspace and update the APP, the duplicate pages/tabs are gone. But that's not a solution I'm looking for as I have multiple reports and they are all in import mode, so I would have to refresh all the datasets locally before publishing.

Cheers,

Artur

Hi @twinrabbits ,

After testing, I didn't reproduce it. And I didn't find a similar issue about it.

The steps I did:

  1.  Create a report with 5 pages and publish it to Service.
  2. Sign in Service and update my APP.
  3. Open the APP and check that report.

Please share the steps that you tried. And it is better for us to share a dummy pbix file that we can test and reproduce. If you could, please upload it to OneDrive for Business.

Best Regards,

Xue Ding
