Power BI Subscription New Subject and Body

Hi everyone,

I've been noticing that without any changes from my side, subscription-related emails started being received today with a change in both the Subject and the Body. In both places, “Power BI report subscription delivery” now appears. The main issue is in the email body, where it replaces the Subscription name

Has anyone else been noticing the same and do you know if it is expected?

Just going to add my voice to this. We're a small company in the UK, working in Social Care, with multiple PBI reports being sent daily and weekly across our 6 sites. This "small" change has materially impacted our team's efficiency - every second counts in our business and having to spend time opening an email to see the subject sounds tiny but adds up to massive inefficiency.

Please can this change be rolled back immediately OR the option to add this be added into 'subscription' settings as a matter of urgency?

        Hi MattiaFratello ,

Since it’s not possible to customize the subscription email subject at the moment, a useful approach is to make the first line of the email body a clear identifier. Because many email clients show this line in the preview, it helps teams quickly spot the report without needing to open every message. Using consistent and descriptive report names can also help minimize confusion and save time for busy teams.

It’s also a good idea to keep submitting feedback and support requests so that Microsoft may consider bringing back subject customization or adding it as an option for subscriptions.

  • The effect of this "unwanted change" has been immediate to all my clients, whom receive multiple PBi Service scheduled reports.

Cell Phone email and PC Outlook UI Subject reference at a glance as we all do, has been rendered meaningless, now requiring hand held rotation or expanding of a margin.

The call to MS should be loud and unanimous, please roll-back this feature.
