We have a PowerBI Service Gateway installed on a Windows EC2 inside of our VPC that is able to communicate to the Snowflake VPC. Following this document here: link.
We have the Snowflake ODBC driver installed on this machine and have tested its connectivity to Snowflake on the 32 & the 64 bit odbc driver and we are on the most recent version of the ODBC driver. Everything is working when we create the connection to Snowflake in the PowerBI service and test it. The problem arises when we use the Gateway Connection in PowerBI to pull data and refresh. Upon refreshing, we get the following error: ERROR [HY000] [Microsoft][Snowflake] (25)
Result download worker error: Worker error: [Microsoft][Snowflake] (4)

Are there any special considerations we may not have been informed about regarding connecting to Snowflake through the PowerBI service through AWS Privatelink?
There is an article from Feb 2020 saying the PowerBI service may not work with Privatelink and I've attached that here: https://www.snowflake.com/blog/using-sso-between-power-bi-and-snowflake/
Hello everyone,
I too need the solution for the above query. if anyone works with snowflake gateways, please share your working method.
Thanks
