Hi Community..!!

If i am a viewer in power bi workspace then can i create ad hoc reports in power bi service?

As per my knowledge , Viewer cannot see the data source and if he needs to create a report on service then i should change his permisssions.

kindly clear my doubt.

Please check out the viewer role

Viewer cant use the dataset.
But if you Promote the dataset, users can use the Datase to build reports in service and Power BI Desktop
