Power BI Service
Hi Community..!!
If i am a viewer in power bi workspace then can i create ad hoc reports in power bi service?
As per my knowledge , Viewer cannot see the data source and if he needs to create a report on service then i should change his permisssions.
kindly clear my doubt.

Please check out the viewer role
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/collaborate-share/service-roles-new-workspacesViewer cant use the dataset.
But if you Promote the dataset, users can use the Datase to build reports in service and Power BI Desktop
