Power BI Service vs. SharePoint - Which to use?
Our company is trying to decide where the best place is to host their Power BI reports, Excel worksheets, Excel models and Power Pivot models. We have SharePoint Online and we're also going to be purchasing Power BI Premium (one node). It's not clear to us if it would be better to host these on Power BI Service or on SharePoint, and how to make that decision.

randyminder Hello if your company will buy premium use premium !
You will have a lot of features do use like Power BI embedded, you can publish into SharePoint 365 too.

I Reccomend you to use the maximum of Premium it is the 'dream of PBI Developers' lol! :)
Thank you for the response! If we go with Power BI Service (via Premium), can we have our datasets, Excel spreadsheets and Power Pivot models refresh on a schedule? I think this is possible but wanted to verify.
Yes, it is possible, but for each type of source you must set their refresh.
Take a look into microsoft documentation to got all information necessary.
I read that a Power BI site in SharePoint Online is basically analogous to a Power Pivot Gallery in SharePoint.
We have to make sure to import our data to Power Pivot and not to worksheet.In SharePoint BI, the maximum workbook size is 2GB.
