Hi the community
I need your help I encounter an issue and I do know how to overcome it (and even if it is possible?).
I have a pbix which already contains an "online data source". I wanted to add another data source with one of my data set from my workspace.
In conclusion: using two different data sources (and even more) in the same pbix file.
But when I tried to import my data set I add the following issue.
So I checked the forum and found that it seems it is not possible to have more than one online data source :
https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Desktop/Power-BI-Service-Live-Connection/m-p/295323#M130266
what I would like to know is if there's a trick to bypass this limitation/issue?
because it's not one set of data I'd like to add, but two or even three.
Thanks for your help,
Kind regards,
Pierre.

Hi @PierreL69
It's not accessible to connect more than one data source under live-connection in power bi, but you can try to generate them as dataflow and then connect the dataflow as a workaround, kindly refer to the official document:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/transform-model/service-dataflows-create-use
With advanced data preparation available in Power BI, you can create a collection of data called a dataflow, which you can then use to connect with business data from various sources, clean the data, transform it, and then load it to Power BI storage.
Once you create a dataflow, you can use Power BI Desktop and the Power BI service to create datasets, reports, dashboards, and apps that are based on the data you put into Power BI dataflows, and thereby gain insights into your business activities.

Ok thanks for this lead, I will try to investigate it.
Regarding my issue: what is the reason that we cannot connect more than one data source under live-connection in power bi ?
I think it's a real shame and limits the use of P BI.
The idea I had of P BI was precisely to be able to connect a multitude of sources (online or not) to each other.
