HI Fra ,

AFAIK, current you can't direct get data from SQL/SSAS datasource at power bi service side. After these connectors are available on desktops side, power bi service has disabled them on service side.

You need to create report on desktop side and publish it to use on power bi service side.

    I think your device has configure proxy so that you can direct connect azure data source. 
    For this scenario, I'd like to suggest you to enable gateway proxy setting, then you can connect to specific azure sql datasource based on proxy setting.

      the question is regarding connect Powerbi service to azure file share. why are you still talking about sql datasource?
