Can anybody please let me know how to connect Power BI Service to Azure Storage Blob, not at Desktop level but directly to Power BI Service only.
Thanks in advance!
Mohityash
Hi @Anonymous ,
you can connect directly from the service with dataflows to a azure blob storage.
Dataflows are only available in workspaces you can create.
To Create a Dataflow go to a workspace or create one.
In the upper right click create and then dataflows.
Click Create new Entities.
After that you can connect to an Azure Blob Storage.
To create a report from a dataflow you need PBI Desktop as well because reports need at minimum one Dataset. There is no way around this.

Thanks @rainer1 ,
I have already implemented the same scenario, but my requirement is specific to service version of Power BI.
