Power BI Service: clarification needed about Azure Security

Hello,

I'd like to know the security level on Azure Cloud for any data that you publish from Power BI Desktop to Power BI Service.

For example, suppose you have a table (stored in a MySQL database that is on a server) and you build a report on it with Power Bi Desktop.

When you publish the PBIX file containing a report in your Power BI service space, where are stored the data used by the report? And what is the security level for this data? Could anyone clarify me this aspect?

Thank you in advance for the answers.

@siacc,

When you publish the PBIX file containing a report in your Power BI service space, where are stored the data used by the report?

Power BI use two primary repositories for storing and managing data: data that is uploaded from users is typically sent to Azure BLOB storage, and all metadata as well as artifacts for the system itself are stored in Azure SQL Database.

Please refer to the  Data storage security section on the link below.
