In Power BI Desktop I am able to successfully connect to an Azure Data Lake Store and create a DataSet and Report. Once I publish the PBIX file to the Power BI Service, I want to schedule a periodic refresh of the data. When attempting to schedule the refresh, I am asked to reenter the credentials to connect to the Azure Data Lake Store.
Azure Datalake is in another tenant and Power BI user is in different tenant. Does Microsoft not support cross tenant refresh on dataset using OAuth2 authentication for Azure Datalake.
When I do, I always get the following error. Is it possible to do a scheduled refresh of a DataSet within the Power BI Service if the data source is Azure Data Lake Store?
Error:
Failed to update data source credentials: The credentials provided for the DataLake source are invalid. (Source at https://xxxxxxx.azuredatalakestore.net/.)
Hi @nvijay
Please ensure your Office365 account and Azure account are in the same tenant,Otherwise, refreshes are affected.

Can you please advise ?
Thank you for your response.
Do you think if we change the duration of OAuth Sign in in Azure Datalake which is by default 1 hr to something longer ie 24 hours would solve the Sign In error ?
