Power BI Service - Moving P1 capacity from tenant to tenant

Hello,

I have a question regarding moving P1 capacity from tenant to tenant on Power BI.

Background: Because of a company merger we want to "migrate" all the contents like workspaces, dashboards and capacity from tentant of company 1 to our tenant company 2. As I know Power BI doesn't support migration and all these contents should be moved manually.

My question: On the tenant of company 1 is a P1 capacity. Is is however possible to move this P1 capacity to our tenant? Did you make any experiences with that?

Thank you

Kind regards.

Hi, @TeYang

As far as I know, currently P SKU does not support transfer to another tenant for use.

If tenant company 1 does not need to use P1 capacity anymore, it can unsubscribe first. Later, you can resubscribe to P1 capacity with tenant company 2.

When you cancel your Premium subscription, or your capacity license expires, you can continue to access your Premium capacities for a period of 30 days from the date of cancellation or license expiration. After 30 days, you will no longer be able to access your Premium capacities or workspaces in them.

This is the link of related content. I hope it can help you,
