I have created a report in PBI desktop and published it to one of the workspaces in PBI Service. I copied the report link from service and shared it with someone in my organization who has Power BI Service Free License but the person is not able to open it.
What is the issue and is there any other way of sharing the report to the person through PBI Service?
Solved! Go to Solution.
In order to share anything with a free licence holder, your organisation needs to have a Premium Capacity licence. Then any content placed on a Premium Capacity workspace can be shared with Free Licence holders.
Otherwise to share with others a Pro licence holder can only share with other Pro or Premium Per User licence holders.
Hope this helps
