Bug: Formating is not preserved on the data label on a line and stacked column chart. Desktop shows correct format. Publishing report removes formating applied. The bug occurs when you create a calculation group with a dynamic format string enabled.

It looks like you are facing a bug when formating a data label on Line and Stacked Column Chart which is preserved in Power BI Desktop but gets removed when publishing the report to the Power BI Service. As already mentioned by @lbendlin, please raise a support ticket for your issue.

Thanks Hammad, I have raised a support ticket. To clarify more about this bug. If you follow the steps above, but toggle the dynamic format string on the calculation group to no, then the bug disappears - formatting is preserved on desktop vs service. What's odd about this is that the calculation group is not even applied to the page with the line and bar visual showing (hence why this is definitely a bug).

The issue has not been resolved. I did raise a support ticket. It's still on going but I don't think they understand my issue very well.
