Power BI Service Data not equal to Power BI Desktop Data

Hello everyone, this has been bugging me the whole day and I could not get my head around it. In Power BI Desktop, the data I have is complete and correct. When I publish it to Power BI Service, it isn't the same. Please see screenshots below:

This is with the same underlying data source from a Dataflow, with no filters done. The semantic model has also been refreshed with no changes to it. What could be missing here?

    Hi Brenz 

     

     

    1. This usually happens because the data in Power BI Service isn’t refreshed yet, while your Desktop file has the latest data.
    2. Power BI Desktop pulls data directly from your source every time you click refresh.
    3. But Power BI Service only shows the last uploaded or refreshed dataset.
    4. So if you published your report earlier, the Service might still be showing old values.
    5. Go to your workspace >> Datasets >> check the last refresh date and time.
    6. If it’s old, click Refresh Now or schedule an automatic refresh.
    7. Also make sure the gateway connection and credentials are valid and pointing to the same source.
    8. If you’re using a dataflow, ensure both Desktop and Service use the same version of that dataflow.
    9. After a proper refresh, the data in Power BI Service and Desktop will match again
