Hi Community,
I am struggling with scatterplot visual and I need your help.
I need to create a scatter plot where x axis is a total value for a client and y axis is where in quartiles this total value is (as on the picture below).
The trick is that is it not working with an extra column where I calculate total value based on quartiles. Power BI does not allow me to do it. When it comes to x axis, it is supposed to have total value in buckets ( as on another picture). When I enter those buckets based on total value (another calculated column) in return I get total values assign to the bucket and not total values with buckets in the background.
I know it sounds illogical to have x and y axis as one value groups with another values corresponding to them in the background but maybe you already handled something similar.
I am looking forward for any suggestions.
Thanks.
Bart
Hi,
I am sharing the link.
Please let me know if that's available for you.

I can open your file. I am just a little confused about your expected result for the Y-axis, can you explain what the logic of its calculation is, please? Is it calculating which quarter the total belongs to?
Best Regards,
Yulia Xu
Yes, which quartile the total belongs to.
I will create a file upload setup asap.
Thanks.
Can you provide some sample data? We can better understand the problem and help you.
