Hello,
I created a report that is connected to Snowflake as the datasource. When refreshing the data from PBI desktop, I dont encounter any issue and it's refreshing smoothly.
ODBC is configured and running smoothly.
Gateway with snowflake data source type has "Connection Successful" tag.
But everytime I refresh the report I get this error:
Note: Everytime I manually refresh the report, I get the same error but the Table where the error is coming from is changing. for example in this error, the table was " example.table" and when I refreshed this gain, it will get the same error but with a different table.
Thank you!
Hoping that someone can help me with this.

Hi @JaimeMabini ,
You also must install the Snowflake ODBC driver on computers that use the Snowflake connector, using the architecture that matches the installation of Power BI Desktop, either 32-bit or 64-bit. Just follow the following link and download the appropriate Snowflake ODBC driver.
You can refer to the document :https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/desktop-connect-snowflake.
You may go through the troubleshooting links to resolve the issue : https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/refresh-troubleshooting-refresh-scenarios
If you still have this issue for Power BI, you'd better create a support ticket in Power BI Support to get further help.

Amy

Hi All,
Was doing a Snowflake POC and was trying to connect Power BI to Snowflake.
Did you have to install the snowflake odbc driver on the gateway itself?
Hello,
My ODBC drivers are up to date and configured correctly.
I found the reason and now the refresh is working properly. The link you gave me is helpful to track the issue.
The reason my report is not refreshing properly is because I dont have the latest gateway version. it shows that my gateway is active but the version is outdated. I updated the version of my gateway and now it's working properly.
Thank you for the help.
