My customer opens the Power BI report from Power BI service and keep it open in a big screen in a conference hall via google chrome browser the whole day so that everyone in the hall can view the updates.
We have made a automatic scheduleed refresh for dataset every two hours.
However once the dataset gets refreshed, the report is not automatically getting refreshed in the Google Chrome. Instead, they need to reload the browser page manually.
How can we make the report reload automatic ?
Hi, @Anonymous
After the dataset is refreshed, the report will not be refreshed automatically. To see the latest data, you need to refresh the report. Therefore, I suggest you to set automatically refresh for your Chrome explorer, you can follow this link:

Hi. Power Bi Reports with schedule refresh are not meant to be in a big screen. You can only refresh those with direct query. The idea of keeping a screen refreshed it's the reason of dashboards. Dashboard are automatically updated when data are changed. I would recommend you building a dashboard with the needed visualizations. Be careful with the filters before pinning to dashboard it's important to keep in mind relative date filtering if you are using dates to keep the tile up to date.
That is the correct way of using power bi. You can always find creative solutions like a browser plugin/addon to automatically refresh the showing tab or something like that 😛
Hope this explanation helps.
