Power BI Report Builder Publishing Error

I am having issues publishing a paginated report to the Power BI service. I am using an enterprise gateway, and am getting the following error:DM_GWPipeline_Gateway_ProviderDataAccessArgumentError. Any thoughts on what might cause this error? Report Builder will let me publish the report to the workspace, and I get this error when I try to open it up.

Hi there

Have you configured the data source in the Gateway?

Also are you using a supported data source for paginated reports?

I am using an orcale db as my data source, which is on the list of accpeted data sources. In terms of the gateway I have configured it. Is there some special setting that needs to be set or something along those lines?

Hi @khwillia ,

Could you please try to verify  if the data source you created in "Manage Gateway" is valid? Please try to map you dataset to this data source. Are you using the Direct Query Mode to connect this data source? Does the Oracle Client has the valid version be installed on the machine running the gateway?

I updated my gateway and it seemed to fix the issue. Not 100% sure though because now I have a whole new slew of issues.

Hi there

Can you confirm that the Gateway is showing a successful connection to the source?
