Power BI Report Builder - Building a card visual
Hi,
Am trying to build a paginated report using Power BI report builder.
The data source is power BI dataset itselt which has all the pre calculated measures.
I want do display a something like a card visual using the text box, which will display the measure value.
How do i achieve this?
Details:
The third column offices(#) is a measure written in a power bi report.
I have to use that measure to display as a card on the left side via text box. How do i achieve this?
if i drag and drop the measure directly to the text and run the report
am getting this error,
How do i resolve this?

Looks like you need to specify which dataset to use so the expession can correctly scope to use that dataset. This article might help: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/reporting-services/report-design/expression-scope-for-totals-aggregates-and-built-in-collections?view=sql-server-ver16

Anonymous - Try adding an expresion summing up the no of offices column. Right click on the text box and select 'Expression'. You cna enter a simple Sum function to sum up the no of offices.

Hello Gautham,
I tried that as well. Its an already calculated measure (distinct count of column) from power bi report.
When i did the above,
Am getting this!!
