Power BI Pro Licensing in the Cloud

My employer is looking to evaluate the PBI Cloud Service for 2 users (myself and my manager, though there could be more later)

I want to make sure I understand the licensing costs.  I know that PBI Pro goes for $10.99 per user/month, with a limit of 1 GB of compressed data models.

So for roughly 22 dollars a month, I can:

- Push up PBI content to the cloud under my domain name  to the cloud service

- My manager can view the content I deploy through his account, and export the data from any visuals to CSV/Excel  (I've been pushing PBI content up to a public site for my boss to test out some visuals, but I realize in that option, users can't export data)

- We can set up a gateway for up to 8 data refreshes per day.

So just want to make sure that ~22 dollars a month will give us that.   (Possibly expanding in the future, but this is for a start)

I'm pretty sure the answer is "yes", but want to confirm.

Thanks,

Kevin

Hi @KevinSGoff ,
Yes, for $21.98 per month ($10.99 per user for Power BI Pro), you and your manager will have full access to Power BI Cloud Service with Pro features. This includes the ability to publish and share reports, allowing your manager to view, interact with, and export data from visuals to CSV/Excel.

Additionally, you can set up an on-premises data gateway to schedule up to 8 data refreshes per day, ensuring your reports stay up to date. Unlike Power BI Public, where data export is restricted, Power BI Pro enables secure collaboration within your domain. As your team expands, each new user will require their own Pro license, but for now, your setup will work seamlessly at the stated cost.
