Hi GianPaolo - Yes, you can have reports and semantic models (also called datasets) in My Workspace without Fabric capacity. Fabric capacity is not required for core Power BI functionalities like creating, viewing, and publishing reports. However, Fabric is related to new features for data engineering, data science, and real-time analytics. Since you are primarily using Power BI for reports, Fabric capacity is not essential for you.

    2. Yes, you can create and publish an App in Power BI without needing Fabric capacity. Power BI Apps are designed to bundle together reports and dashboards for easier distribution. You don't need Fabric for this feature. A Power BI Pro license is sufficient to create and share apps within your organization.

    3. The reason you see the alert in My Workspace but not in the newly created workspace could be because My Workspace is tied to your user account and has inherited the Fabric evaluation features when you signed up. Since the evaluation period has expired, it is warning you that any non-Power BI elements (like Fabric services) will be removed.

Since you're not using Fabric, you can continue using Power BI without any impact after the evaluation expires. If you're still concerned, you can verify what non-Power BI elements might be removed by checking for any Fabric-related resources (like Data Warehouse, Dataflows, or Data Lake) in My Workspace.
