Power BI Premium to Fabric Migration Issue

hi Guys,

 

Hi the first week of March we migratited our all workspace from  Power BI Premium P1 capacity to Fabric F64 capacity with same region UK South. 

Till Friday morning everything working fine and then suddenly around 8:30am we are start getting the error on data refresh and then each power bi report in our different workspace are not able to access and showing the below error:

Currently all our workspace assing in Fabric F64 capcity and then we tried to back to Permimum capcity but still showing the same error.

Any one face this kind of migraton issue or any help on the issue.

sounds like a bug. maybe related to the storage format choice.

 

Since you have a Pro license you can open a Pro ticket at https://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/newsupportticket/powerbi

Update: MS team still in investigation phase and we are waiting for further updates. Next update I will do on Monday. Thanks

Try clearing the cache from Options and restart Power BI Desktop.
Also check if the storage mode is Import or DirectQuery,
as it may affect filtering behavior.

As per Microsoft documentation, they said if you have to equivalent capacity as per your Premium capacity to Fabric. Thats way we chosen F64 as its equivalent to our previous Premium P1 capacity.

Do you think if we can increase the capacity to F128 will make any impact...?

And strange thing if we are trying to get back to Premium capacity still showing the same error. Ideally its should work as its working before in Premium. Any thoughts on this please.

 

We also raise the support ticket and still waiting for further details from the team.

That error is commonly caused because you have large storage format, or the model is too large for shared capacity. If the workspace, is definitely on F64 capacity, then a support ticket is likely required
