Yes, it is possible to purchase PowerBI Premium P2 for just one month and then upgrade to P3 in the middle of the month. However, you will be charged for both the P2 and P3 nodes for the month. When you upgrade from P2 to P3, the billing system will pro-rate the cost of P3 based on the number of days remaining in the month.
This means you will be charged the full price of P2 for the days that you used it, and the prorated cost of P3 for the days remaining in the month.
