Power BI Premium Per User or Per Capacity
Hi,
We are getting "Visual Has Exceeded The Available Resources" error message.
According to the link: https://blog.crossjoin.co.uk/2020/01/20/visual-has-exceeded-the-available-resources-error-power-bi/ , we may purchase in order to get higher resources.
I am checking the pricing page. Do we need Power BI Premium per user or per capacity?
Thanks
Before looking at paying more it's probably worth trying to optimise your dax/data model. What measure is the visual trying to render?
To specifically answer your question the settings displayed in the blog you're looking at are only available in full premium capacity. Depending on how many users you'd need to licence if you found that the query couldn't be optimised then I'd try a single ppu licence in the first instance before splashing out for full premium capacity.
