Hello, this may be a dumb question, but I can't locate it online.
I currently have Power BI Pro, and I'm interested in upgrading to Premium Per User when available. I want to make sure there are no interruptions to those who view my reports online though. When I publish a report online for others to view on the web, will my change in license affect their ability to see the report or will nothing change?
Thanks!

If you upgrade your license and DO NOT upgrade any App workspaces the users will still be able to view your reports/dashboards
If you create a report/dashboard in an App Workspace that has been changed to PPU, then all users who want to view those reports in that App Workspace (Having PPU) will also require a PPU license.

So does this mean, that when I upgrade from pro to premium, we'll need someone to work on the data modelling and another working on the visuals/publishing?
I only want to make use of dataflow table manipulation features (merge/append while keeping the data refresh active), so I'll upgrade as the report developer; Would that make all the other users still able to see the report that was created by another colleague who has pro license? in this case, I cannot publish new reports to that workpsace or update the app beacuse anything I do would be premium?
is it so?
Hi @sayed_
If you are using Power BI Premuim the users with a pro license will be able to consume the dataflows.
If you are using Power BI premium per user then each user would need a premium per user license.
Thank you! That answers my question.
