Power BI Premium Gen2
Hey everyone,
With the release of Premium Gen2 today, has anyone been able to tell if they have been migrated over? My admin center still tells me that I am on Gen2 (Preview).
It was my thought/wonder that if we are no longer in preview that this message would go away.
Also, if anyone is on the general release of it, have you noticed any difference between Preview and the release?
Any feedback/comments would be appreciated!

Hi,
According to my test, this issue has been fixed and the (preview) has been removed and the GA version of the premium Gen2 has been completely released.

Hi,
According to my research, I think you can wait for a week and check if your Premium Gen2 capacity has upgraded to the general release version. Because the timeline blog of Gen2 said that:
The next generation of Power BI Premium (Gen 2) will be Generally Available the week of Sept 27th. As of the exact date, all new premium capacities created will be Gen 2 capacities.
I think it means that the Gen2 will be generally available till the end of this week and after this week, all the newly created premium capacities will be Gen2 capacity.

Based on your image above you are now on Gen2 because it is enabled.There should be a performance boost, as well as you should not run out of memory for example when datasets refresh because the refreshing of memory is not counted against your memory allocation.

We have been on Gen2, but we are on the preview -- My question is to see if we are on the general release and not the preview anymore.
I didn't really see a way to discern if we had been switched over (Presumably the preview is not the same as the general release, but I don't know because I haven't found any information that addresses that).
