The basics. Paying for AAS will let you have a capacity to run your model. It's like moving your Power Bi Dataset to a dedicated capacity that is Analysis Services. That tier you pay there will perform all calculations and relationships. You transform all data in AAS. At the end you can connect with Power Bi to AAS directly (live connection). You can only create visualizations with Power Bi. You have delivered all the data cleaning to AAS and all the dashboarding to Power Bi.
