Power BI Paginated Report URL Parameters

Need help regarding URL parameter option. Below is scenario where we need help.

We developed financial report in Power bi using Matrix visual. All went well untill user specifically asked about formated export in Excel which is not possible currently with Power bi Matrix visual. 

To overcome this limitation, we develped exactly similar Power bi paginated report where export worked really well as per the user's expectation.

As a next step, we wanted to give Export option (paginatd report url with embeded export format parameter as EXCEL).

The problem is, when users clicks on Export option from Power bi report, paginated report also opens as seprate window. Howerver export started automatically which is what we wanted.

Is there any way to just download report but without rending paginated report in browser(because we PBI version of the report is alreay there).
