Power BI Paginated Report Subscription - Send Only When Data is Available
Hello dears of the forum,
I have a Power BI Paginated Report, and I want to set up a scheduled subscription to receive the report via email. However, I only want the report to be sent if there is data available - if the dataset returns no records, the email should not be sent.
Is there a way to configure this within Power BI query itself?
Any guidance or best practices would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
Akash_Varuna I could find a way by putting the query into a temprary table and making it throw an error if row count 0, but im looking for a better approach.

Hi johnsebastian97 I don't think there is a way to set trigger for this kind of scenarios in Power Query you would have to use automation for this Probably Power Automate which will trigger on this use case
If this post helped please do give a kudos and accept this as a solution
Thanks In Advance
