Power BI Online Visuals
Two tables in one of our Power BI reports aren't showing up in Power BI Online, but they are working fine in Power BI Desktop. I've attached a screenshot below, with Online on the let and Desktop on the right. All of the data is directly/automatically pulled from our system, no one goes into the data tables, so its not an error caused by changing a column name. I've tried refreshing and republishing the Desktop but that has not worked. Any thoughts. I've also included a copy of the error message.
Thankyou, Deku , for your response.
Hi Alexolsen151,We sincerely appreciate your inquiry through the Microsoft Fabric Community Forum.
Kindly follow the steps mentioned below, which may help resolve the issue:
-
Determine whether ID_ITEM (clusters) is a calculated column or a measure. If it is a measure, please verify whether it depends on a column that is missing in Power BI Service.
-
Navigate to Power BI Service → Dataset → Refresh History and review any errors. Additionally, try manually refreshing the dataset in Power BI Service instead of relying solely on scheduled refresh.
-
If your data originates from an on-premises source, ensure that the on-premises data gateway is running and correctly configured.
-
Ensure that all tables and relationships are properly defined in Power BI Service. Additionally, confirm that the user accessing the report has the necessary permissions to view all required tables within the dataset.
-
If you are using DirectQuery, consider switching the mode from DirectQuery to Import. Thereafter, publish the dataset again and verify whether this resolves the issue.
If you find our response helpful, kindly mark it as the accepted solution and provide kudos. This will assist other community members facing similar queries.
Thank you.
