Power BI On premises gateway requires restart inorder to take changes into effect

We are using an on-premises gateway for app.powerbi.com. Whenever any change is made on ODBC DSN, then it requires a restart of the gateway in order for the changes can be effective in service (i.e. app.powerbi.com). May be due to the gateway cache or something.

 

It will be a blocker for users to each time restart the gateway. Is there a way to bypass this step in the gateway server machine?
