Hi everyone,
The organization I work for employs scorecards and metrics, which were previously known as 'Goals' features. One of our ex-employees assisted us in connecting some of the metrics. What happens to the metric connection if the IT department deactivates or deletes his account? Do we have to reconnect the metrics because of that?
Thank you for your reply.
Solved! Go to Solution.
@CCSMTL_PBI If the ex-employee directly connected metrics to data sources the connections will remain intact even if their account is deactivated or deleted. Power BI doesn’t rely on the user’s account for data retrieval. You won’t need to reconnect these metrics unless there are changes to the data sources.
In the Power BI admin portal, there are settings related to usage metrics. Read more

Hi @CCSMTL_PBI ,
Better takeover on the datasets and use your account for authentication or the person who is replacing his position.
Thanks,
Sai Teja
