Power BI Licence Questions

Hey everyone,

 

I don't know if this is the right place for these questions, but the other sections of the forum seemed even more inappropriate to me. The questions are about licensing:

 

1. I'm working for a company which uses the Office package. If I buy Power BI Pro, it's linked to mypersonal Office account. Is it possible to delink the Pro-licence in case I leave the company and link it to the account of one of my colleagues?

 

2. Power BI Pro is purchased for one year. What happens after that year? Does the licence extend automatically or do I have to extend it manually?

    Max_Bahne 1.) An office 365 admin can remove the license from your account and assign it to a different user. 2.) Typically your organization will be managing the renewal of licenses with MSFT. But you can set a subscription to a service to auto-renew.
