Power BI Integrated with Teams
Hi,
I am currently working on a Power BI solution for my company, the requirement is to let the users see the Power BI reports from Teams channel as well as other internal websites such as sharepoint online.
I have Power BI Pro license myself, and I can create workspace then publish the report I created to it. From Teams side, I add the report to Power BI tab in the teams chat channel , but some of my team mates can not see the report properly due to licencing issue (try trail or purchase pro ...). I checked with the IT department, all of my company members already have the Power BI license (free user).
What else can I do to make sure they can see the report in Teams ? (from Sharepoint side have the same issue).
They do not need to build the report, I think the free licence should be the one to view the report, right ? To view the report that others created and shared to them in teams / sharepoint is fine.
Thank you.

Hi WendyDUFE ,
You can publish the report to the web or export the report as a PPT or PDF for sharing.
When you use Publish to web, anyone on the Internet can view your published report or visual.Be careful not to include any private data.

Hi WendyDUFE ,
To see the report in the Power BI tab in Microsoft Teams or SharePoint Online, users must have permission to view the report.
For Power BI to work in Microsoft Teams, your users with Power BI (Free) licenses can access content shared to them from a workspace that is part of a Power BI Premium capacity (P SKU).
For Embed in SharePoint Online reports to work,if the report is hosted in a Power BI Premium capacity (EM or P SKU), users with only a free Power BI license can view reports that are already embedded in Sharepoint Online. Users with only a free Power BI license can't embed reports in SharePoint Online.
