Power BI Global admin

Hi team,

I am power BI global admin, even then i am not able to see the entire organisation workspace and reports.

My requirement here is to go to individual workspace and download the reports being a Power BI global Admin as part of tenat migration. Does this require that i need to be part of each and every workspace as edit member? even after being Power BI globa admin. Because i am not even able to see all the workspaces in my tenant being Power BI admin in my workspace . Note i am not part of individual workspace as member. Is this behaviour weird.

If the scenario then how can i download all the reports from all the workspace in my tenant being Power BI Global Admin

When i try to run the power shell script i get the message

Operation returned an invalid status code 'NotFound',Microsoft.PowerBI.Commands.Reports.ExportPowerBIReport

    Hi vishy0501

the Power BI Service Administrator can see all the App Workspace without assigning them as Workspace Admins.

But i'm not sure you could download all datasets.

    Best Regards

So basically i agree with you in case of app workspace  which workspace new experience , what about the work space with old experience wherein O365 groups are created. Does in that scenario global admins can download or see reports of any workspace where they are not member. Or the gobal admin should be part of those specific groups in o365
