Power BI Gateway
Does power bi service need a gateway for cloud data sources ? How to schedule the refresh for the dataset that connects to cloud data sources if there is no gateway required ?
Power BI does not require gateway to connect to cloud services i.e. snowflake, SharePoint etc
but it will require a gateway if the access to the sloud services are restricted by IP filtering/whitelisting.If that's not the case the simply go to Dataset Settings -> Data source credentials and update the credenatails acording to the source.
