Power BI Gateway timeout change
Hi all, I want to lower the Power BI Gateway Timeout, with my Pro license it is now 2 hours. I want this reduced to 10 minutes. Most actions will refresh within 2 minutes, and now if fails we are...
We do a refresh every 10 minutes 24/7, somehow it fails 1-2 a day. Then we are stuck and need to wait for 2 hours because the cancellation token isn't honored. Even when we are only 20 minutes into the refresh.
Edit: DM_GWPipeline_Gateway_TimeoutError is the error we see in the log.
Edit 2: Normally the models refresh in 60 seconds or less.
Have you considered using Direct Query instead?
The data needs to be pulled from an MySQL database, can we get that using DirectQuery?
