Power BI Gateway timeout change

Hi all,

I want to lower the Power BI Gateway Timeout, with my Pro license it is now 2 hours. I want this reduced to 10 minutes.
Most actions will refresh within 2 minutes, and now if fails we are stuck waiting 2 hours before our next manual refresh.

Edit: Extra information, we want this change because we get this error message DM_GWPipeline_Gateway_TimeoutError. We have 2 gateways running in a cluster, the machines are equiped with i7 12th gen CPU's and 32GB RAM and NVME SSD 512GB W11.
The error message happens randomly 1-2 times a day, when it happens we are stuck and need to wait 2 hours. Cancelling during the 2 hours doesn't work.

You will need to implement your own polling mechanism to see which refreshes are in flight for more than 10 minutes and then you need to issue a cancellation request for these. NOTE: That cancellation request may or may not be honored depending on how far the refresh has already progressed.  NOTE2:  This is not primarily a gateway related issue.

We do a refresh every 10 minutes 24/7, somehow it fails 1-2 a day. Then we are stuck and need to wait for 2 hours because the cancellation token isn't honored. Even when we are only 20 minutes into the refresh.

Edit: DM_GWPipeline_Gateway_TimeoutError is the error we see in the log.
Edit 2: Normally the models refresh in 60 seconds or less.

Have you considered using Direct Query instead?

The data needs to be pulled from an MySQL database, can we get that using DirectQuery?

I am still working on the solution but this takes some time, adjusting dashboard and updating gateways. So not 100% sure yet if it works.
