Power BI Gateway disconnected
Hello, I'm using the power bi gateway version 3000.114.6
I have installed it successfully despite having some .NET errors I discarded. Signed on with my account and could see the gateway up in Power BI Service. Problem is, after a while the gateway gets disconnected.
Sometimes it shows as connected in my local server but disconnected in power bi service.
Sometimes it shows as configured but still needs to connect. Is there a way to persist this connection somehow?
The purpose of the gateway is to always be up in case we need to refresh the reports and this is not working out this way.
I am using the default configuration.

I would suggest uninstalling the gateway and re-installing again. You need to have the .NET versions installed as a pre-requisite to ensure that the gateway can run as expected.

I already had .NET Framework 4.8 installed before I installed the gateway.
Uninstalling the gateway I get Failure to uninstall the gateway with the following error and I can't even close the window error until I force stop the process from windows task:

Does the computer on which you installed the gateway meet the minimum requirements for gateway installation ?
In addition to the deployment environment requirements, you also need to pay attention to Related considerations .
You can uninstall the gateway in the control panel, then check whether your computer meets the gateway installation, and then reinstall the latest version of the standard gateway . For the gateway deployment environment, you can refer to the following official documents.
