Power BI Gateway - September 24
Hello
I am after some advice on the on premise data gateway release Sept 2024. A fix was provided for error - Microsoft SQL: A connection was successfully established with the server, but then an error occurred during the login process. (provider: SSL Provider, error: 0 - The certificate chain was issued by an authority that is not trusted.)
My question is does this fix have to be implemented on every update going forward?

no, it sticks across updates but it will have to be reapplied when you reinstall the gateway for some reason or other, and on new installs.
