• Go to Manage Gateways in the Power BI Service and verify that your SQL data source is still correctly mapped. Try re-entering the credentials and saving the connection again.
• Some gateway updates enforce stricter security settings. If your SQL Server requires encrypted connections, check if this setting has changed post-update.

• You can find logs in the installation folder of your on-premises gateway. Look for errors related to authentication or connectivity.
