Power BI Gateway Region/Tenant Change

Greetings All,

We are in the process of migrating our Power BI service from its current tenant to a new tenant to be in compliance with our company's data storage policies.

My question is : I have Power BI Gateway installed on two machines pointing to Region A. Microsoft will assist us in changing the tenant in the backend however they said we have to reconfigure the gateways to point to the new Tenant B for e.g. : How do we do this on the Gateway i.e. switch from Region A to Region B ? Do I have to uninstall and reinstall the gateways from scratch? Any articles or pointers in the right way would be appreciated

So what i understood is that I will have to uninstall the current gateways on both my machines and resinstall them again , is my understanding correct ?
