Power BI Gateway - Live SSAS Connection - UK

I am intending on connecting a Power BI dataset to SSAS live connection via the On Premises data Gateway.

 

When data is pushed to power BI - is there a way of limiting the data to a country - as I would prefer the data to remain within the UK. Is this possible?

    Johnhepp Be sure to read through the security whitepaper to see what bits of caching are involved, but there are a couple things. When you are using SSAS live connection, your data never leaves your SSAS instance. Nor will it in Direct Query. If you did import, then the data would be sent and stored in the data center listed in your service - "?" -> About Power BI

    From my understanding, this shouldn't leave that datacenter, regardless, especially as some countries have laws/rules around data not leaving.
