Helper IPower BI Embedded to slow compared to service
Hi all,
I have a application used to host embedded power BI reports.
when loaded through the application it takes 7-15 seconds to load a dashboard whereas when accessed through the Power BI service it takes 2-5 seconds.
the majority of the time is spent on on the PBI logo and loading wheel. once the report is loaded, it very quick to interact with.
Can anyone advise what can be investigated further or anyway to increase this? Even when I embedded 1 report with 1 table containing 5 rows, through the embedded app it takes 7 seconds and 2.5 seconds through the power BI service.

There are multiple reasons for this. The first one is that, because it is embedded, there is an extra step to show the power bi report through an embedded application. And secondly, this could also happen because the embedded SKU that is being used is smaller than what is available in the power bi service and that is why the initial load takes longer to start.
