Power BI Embedded Licensing

⚠️NEED URGENT HELP ⚠️

I am trying to understand the Power BI Embedded Licensing.

I have a traffic of 1000 users per hourly(or could be daily) hitting my web portal where I have embedded my Power BI report.

As per the above table, which configuration would best suit my requirements.

Which SKUs, nodes, v-cores, memory configuration to consider for handling 1000 users hitting my web portal to access the embedded report?

How many users can be accomodated or simultaneously access the report on the portal, if we choose Capacity SKU A1.

Hi  @Mohanish95 ,

As far as I know, here in the embed SKU capacity of the report resource consumption, including memory, CPU not only depends on the number of users of your embed report, but also to a certain extent will depend on the size of the data volume of your report, data conversion logic complexity, so just from the use of 1,000 users to see is not able to help you directly judge what will be used! SKU capacity will be enough, my best recommendation is to use the P1 type of capacity (equivalent to A4), not only contains all the embedded normal functionality, but also to give users of the Power BI workspace free licence access. It also prevents the need to expand the capacity in case the number of report users increases in the future.

Best Regards,

Liu Yang
