Power BI Embedded

Question

Hi,&nbsp;We have a Progress Database to which we can connect via ODBC or OData. Does Power BI Embedded support Direct Query via OData or ODBC using custom connector SDK? If so, can you please point me to the documentation and any example. If not, is it possible to do scheduled refreshes ?&nbsp;Thanks,bobba&nbsp;&nbsp;

Is your data source online or on-premise? Direct query in power bi embeded only support online data source. Please refer to:

Thanks Jimmy. It says Azure SQL DB and Azure SQL DW are the only supported data sources. Lets say I have an OData service that can be accessed from public internet, do you happen to know if this use-case is supported?
