Power BI Embebbed
Good morning dear, I work for a company that has a DMS for car dealerships, and we are implementing for each Power BI client with our dashboards created. These users intend to share the boards to other people, but only for reading. For this reason, we think about power bi embebbed, but our question is whether these customers who have power bi pro, have to pay any part license or other cost for power bi embebbed. - If you want to embed a report in a secure portal or website, whether a user opens a report URL directly, or one embedded in a web portal, report access requires authentication. Only users who have view permission can see the report in Power BI. All RLS rules are also applied. Lastly, the user needs to be correctly licensed – either they need a Power BI Pro license, or the report must be in a workspace that is in a Power BI Premium capacity. - You can also use API for embedding Power BI content under two main scenarios:
- Embedding for your organization's users (who have Power BI licenses).
- Embedding for your users and customers without requiring Power BI licenses.
- For this issue, if you want to Embedding for your customers, this embedding is done through a capacity-based, hourly metered model. Please refer:
