Power BI Desktop and Dataflows
- Anonymous4 years ago
Hello,
Thanks for your reponse.
no, I had no errors.
to solve the problem, I deleted the saved connection in power query and I only see esl streams to which I have rights.I thought that by restarting Power bi desktop, it will reset the connections...
Hi Anonymous ,
This might be due to permissions and/or differenet userids. For example, "The Power BI dataflows connector uses a different set of credentials than the current logged in user. This is by design, to support multi-tenant users." And so, within Desktop you may be seeing a larger list than you actually have permission to use and when yo uare in the Service you are seeing the actual list.
If you do try to open a Dataflow in the Desktop that is not available to you in the Service, does it just give you a permissions error message?
